BASKETBALL LEAGUES AT THE COURTS

Basketball has been a foundational part of The Courts as a sports facility since its beginnings in May of 2000
The Courts offers several basketball leagues throughout the year at various skill levels. Learn more about our basketball leagues below.
"As a basketball coach, The Courts has provided a locale for competition at numerous levels of play. As a Junior College basketball coach, the summer Pro Am allows a venue for my current and future players to play together in a competitive setting. As an area high school coach, the fall and spring leagues and shootouts were an avenue for pre-season and off season opportunities for team chemistry and development. As a father of three, The Courts provided leagues where skill development and the team concept were essential in contributing to a love for the game."
-Steve Hunter, North Arkansas College, Head Men's Basketball

"The Courts has been such a wonderful venue for basketball of all ages these last 18 years. They have allowed the youth to develop their games and high school and collegiate level players refine their skills. The organization and customer service has been top notch and it is easy to see why they have been around for so long."
-Trevyor Fisher

OPTIONS FOR SEVERAL SKILL LEVELS

The Courts wants all teams to play equal competition. We divide our basketball leagues by grade level, not by age or birth date. Teams can register to play in leagues at their grade level or higher. The Courts also recognizes the various levels of competition with each grade level. That's why we offer non-competitive, semi-competitive, and competitive divisions so everyone is playing teams of similar skill levels.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SPORTSMANSHIP

Sportsmanship is a priority at The Courts. Good sportsmanship is the attitude and behavior that exemplifies positive support for athletics, as well as for the individuals who participate. Everyone involved in all facets of sports are expected to demonstrate respect for others and display good sportsmanship.
Positive experiences do not occur by chance, rather they are a result of the educational structure, the right perspective, the right leadership and the true understanding of sportsmanship.
Remember, sportsmanship is EVERYONE's responsibility!
